Haha, this gets played regularly on Coast FM – wow, what a YOUNG Helen Reddy! These songs’ lyrics often now seem quite sappy I’m afraid 😦

    • Greg.K. says:

“quite sappy!” That is an understatement!! But then, a lot of what we thought was so cool in the 70s is now a little “sappy.” I often wonder about the stuff listened to today and think that there will come a time when we hear that and ask, “Hmmm, why did we ever like that!?!”

  2. Miki says:

    True – Coast also often plays Helen Reddy’s ‘Angie Baby’ . . . now THERE’S a song!
